The aim of the Focus Awards Level 4 Certificate in Skin Needling Treatments (RQF)
is to provide learners with the knowledge and skills required to safely plan and
provide skin needling treatments to clients.
Course Details
- Duration: 2/3 Days In-Class + Home Study
- Course Fee: £999 Plus £150 if you need to do the Level 4 anatomy and physiology qualification.
This regulated Level 4 qualification is designed for practitioners who want to progress into advanced skin treatments and offer professional skin needling services. The course provides comprehensive theoretical knowledge, practical training, and assessment to ensure learners
can perform treatments safely, effectively, and in line with industry and insurance requirements.
Pre-Requisites:
Learners must have previously completed and achieved or is work towards an anatomy and physiology qualification at a minimum of Level 4, with a core knowledge of facial anatomy and experience of investigative consultation.
In circumstances where learners do not hold a formal qualification, but have a minimum of 2 years’ occupational experience, entry to the qualification may be considered subject to a centre interview, and review by Focus Awards of current knowledge, understanding and skills.
Qualification
Upon successful completion, learners will achieve the Focus Awards Level 4 Certificate in Skin Needling Treatments (RQF), enabling them to obtain insurance and perform professional skin needling treatments within their scope of practice.

Day 1 – Theory & Knowledge Development

Home Study Requirements
Students must complete:
- Coursework portfolio
- Written assignments
- Required case studies on models
Certification is issued once all coursework, assessments, and case studies have been
successfully completed and verified.
