    Qualification

    Upon successful completion, learners will receive:

    • An accredited Certificate of Achievement in Body Piercing which is accredited by
      Centre of CPD of Excellence
    • Documentation suitable for insurance and local authority registration (subject to
      council requirements)

    Course Content

    Theory Modules
    • – Professional ethics and client care
    • – Relevant legislation and local authority requirements
    • – Anatomy and physiology related to body piercing
    • – Skin structure and healing processes
    • – Infection prevention and control
    • – Cross-contamination and bloodborne pathogens
    • – Sterilisation methods and equipment handling
    • – Jewellery types, materials, and sizing
    • – Risk assessment and contraindications
    • – Advice and client education
    • – Managing complications and problem piercings
    Practical Training

    Learners will receive hands-on training under supervision, covering:

    • – Studio setup and safe working practices
    • – Client consultation and consent procedures
    • – Marking and placement techniques
    • – Use of needles and piercing tools (no guns)
    • – Jewellery insertion and secure fitting
    • – Piercing techniques for:
                  o Ear (lobe and cartilage)
                  o Nose
                  o Lip
                  o Eyebrow
                  o Navel
                  o Tongue
                  o Nipple
                  o Other common body piercings (as permitted by accreditation)
    • – Post-procedure care and documentation

    Assessment

    Learners will be assessed through:

    • Written knowledge assessments
    • Practical observations
    • Client consultations

    Health & Safety

    Strict health and safety protocols are followed throughout the course. Learners must
    adhere to PPE requirements, hygiene standards, and professional conduct at all times.
